Pharrell Williams and Kendrick Lamar are among the artists taking the court during this year's NBA All-Star Weekend. 

On Thursday, the NBA announced that Pharrell will perform as this year's all-stars are introduced before the 63rd NBA All-Star Game on Sunday, February 16th.  The Grammy-winning producer's set will feature surprise musical guests. 

During halftime, Janelle Monae will join rock musician Dr. John, Gary Clark Jr., the legendary group Earth, Wind & Fire and Trombone Shorty for the halftime festivities. 

The All-Star Game will take place at New Orleans Arena and will air live at 8:00 p.m. Eastern on TNT. 


The night before the big game, Grammy-nominated rapper Kendrick Lamar will put on a show ahead of the Sprite Slam Dunk Contest.  The Compton-born emcee is expected to perform a medley of hits from his debut album good kid, m.A.A.d. city.  The Sprite Slam Dunk Contest will air live February 15th at 8:00 p.m. Eastern on TNT.
