Service Dog Meets His Hero at Walt Disney World

A service dog was over the moon after meeting one of his heroes during a recent trip to Walt Disney World's Magic Kingdom.

The golden retriever named Atlas was out with his owner, Julian Gavino, at the Japan Pavilion at Epcot Center when they had a magical experience while meeting a giant-sized version of the pup's favorite character - Pluto. According to Gavino, Atlas has a stuffed Pluto toy at home and he's often chewing on stuffed yellow dog that he "loves so much."

When Atlas noticed the life-sized version of his toy at the park, Gavino said his dog's tail wagged wildly, and approached his hero to sniff noses with Pluto.

“Atlas was more than excited to meet his best pal look alike,” Gavino wrote on the video which has since gone viral.

Gavino, who is in a wheelchair, has a connective tissue disorder called Ehlers Danlos Syndrome type 3, brought Atlas home from New Horizons Service Dogs in Orange City, Florida. The video has since been shared thousands of times on Facebook with many people commenting on how cute the two are together.
