Nationally Acclaimed Speakers and Performers to Celebrate EJI Museum and Memorial Opening On April 26-27, an exciting array of nationally acclaimed speakers and performers will celebrate the Grand Opening of the National Memorial for Peace and Justice and the Legacy Museum in downtown Montgomery, Alabama. 

EJI will host two compelling days of events at the Peace and Justice Summit from April 26-27, the Opening Ceremony on April 26, and the Concert for Peace and Justice on April 27. EJI Peace and Justice Summit April 26-27, Montgomery Performing Arts Center $25 Summit Pass The Peace and Justice Summit will present an exciting array of national leaders and advocates, including Michelle Alexander, Sherrilyn Ifill, Gloria Steinem, Marian Wright Edelman, Rev. William Barber, Ava DuVernay, Elizabeth Alexander, Vice President Al Gore, The Roots, Janet Mock, and many others. Sessions will run all day on Thursday, April 26, and Friday, April 27, at the Montgomery Performing Arts Center.

Opening Ceremony April 26, Montgomery Convention Center $10 Ticket The Opening Ceremony on Thursday, April 26, will feature John Lewis and other national leaders, and performances from artists including Bebe Winans, Sweet Honey in the Rock, and the Alvin Ailey American Dance Theater. 

The ceremony will take place at the Montgomery Convention Center. Tickets are now available for $10. Concert for Peace and Justice April 27, Riverwalk Amphitheater in downtown Montgomery, Alabama. $51.50 Ticket

 On Friday, April 27, EJI invites you to celebrate the opening of the National Memorial for Peace and Justice and the Legacy Museum at the Concert for Peace and Justice , featuring performances by The Roots, Usher, Common, Brittany Howard from the Alabama Shakes, Gary Clark Jr., and Kirk Franklin, plus very special guests. Doors open at 6:00 p.m. for the 7:30 p.m. show at the Riverwalk Amphitheater in downtown Montgomery, Alabama. Tickets are $51.50 and go on sale this Friday, March 30 at Ticketmaster.com or by phone at 800.745.3000.
