Meek Mill had noble intentions when he took a trip to Ghana. Unfortunately, he also got robbed during his stay.

On Thursday night, December 29, the Philly native hit up his Instagram Story to post videos of his arrival to his headlining set at Afro Nation Ghana. Two hours later, he informed his fans that his phone was stolen during his time at the music festival. Meek didn't provide any solid details pertaining to the alleged crime, but he seemed upset about it.

"They pick pocketed me for my phoneeeeeee SMH," Meek wrote. "Bring that Jawn back if you got it!!!"

After his phone was stolen, video of Meek struggling to walk through a crowd of excited fans began to surface. In one shot, you can see the Dreams and Nightmares rapper apparently defending himself after someone got too rowdy with him while he was on his way to the stage.

He seemed to have found another device to continue documenting his time in Ghana. Meek didn't let the isolated incidents ruin his experience. He has spent the past week exploring the West African nation after he recently discovered that his family has roots there thanks to an Ancestry DNA test. He posted videos of his first day in the country while riding on a four-wheeler ATV and later ended up at a club from 3 a.m. to 7 a.m.

“Young Kings,” he wrote in his Instagram caption. “came to club at 3am left and 7am on 12 o clock! #ghanalit they been keeping us from Africa huh lol my come thru be wayyyyyyyyyyyy different.”
