Offset is setting the record straight about a nasty rumor that fans believe led to the publicized fallout with his former Migos bandmate, Quavo, and his estranged wife, Cardi B.

On Tuesday, October 7, Keke Palmer released the latest episode of her Baby, This Is Keke Palmer podcast featuring Offset. During their conversation, the Atlanta rapper admitted to "stepping out" on Cardi B and said he should've respected her more. Yet, when asked if he ever cheated on the mother of his three kids with Saweetie, the "Bodies" rapper flat out denied the long-standing rumor.

"No man," he said. "It was a rumor man."

"I feel like it was something deeper than that for the split of me and bro," he continued. "It was something deeper than that I don't really want to touch on, but it was something deeper than that. I think people was trying to tear down my situation down in that situation."

While Cardi B and Offset were together in 2022, a rumor floated around that 'Set cheated on Bardi with Saweetie, who was also dating Quavo at the time. After Quavo and Saweetie broke up later that year, the Atlanta rapper seemingly accused her of cheating in his song "Messy." Cardi herself also shut down the rumor during an interview in 2023. However, during her recent appearance on The Breakfast Club, Cardi appeared to reference a woman who gave her flowers and then slept with Offset behind her back.

"They gave me flowers,” she said. “Literally flowers…Then, months later, I found out you f**ked this n***a. Stuff like that be weird to me.”

Later on in Keke Palmer's interview, Offset gave more insight into why Migos disbanded. He said that his cousin, TakeOff, was the glue that kept the group together and said that it would never be the same without him. Takeoff passed away in 2022 after he was fatally shot in Houston. Offset agreed that their split was for the best, but he also said that he would be down to reunite with Quavo in a few years.
