Nicki Minaj used her acceptance speech after winning the inaugural Game Changer award at Billboard’s Women In Music event to honor Juice WRLD. Minaj, who toured with Juice in 2019, says that the 21-year-old was a “kindred spirit,” and that she was surprised when he held her hand before going on stage and told her to “stay calm and pray.” Nicki went on to talk about the struggles of addiction and the need for people to be more understanding and allow those who need to, to talk about whatever ails them. "It's important not to pass judgment so people aren't ashamed to speak out and ask for help,” said Minaj, “I just came here tonight to ask people to be a little more forgiving and understanding, especially with entertainers.
