CARDI B, DRAKE, POST MALONE: Lead the Pack in iHeartRadio Music Awards

TeeRoy's 2 Cents:

  • What, Swae Lee’s pet monkeys Lil G and Nya weren’t cut enough to get nominated for pet of the year?
  • Two things that make the show must watch -- the fan-voted categories and some of the ones where multiples genres go head to head.
  • With nominees like this, there are sure to be some great performers announced soon.

Cardi B leads the pack with 13 nominations in eight categories -- she’s competing against herself for Best Collaboration and Best Music Video.Drake’s in a good spot with eight nods in six categories, with three chances to win Hip-Hop Song of the Year. Post Malone is nominated for five awards, while Travis Scott got a look in two categories -- Hip-Hop Artist of the Year and R&B Song of the Year. Childish Gambino and Kendrick Lamar are also both up for a pair of awards.
