- With so much controversy surrounding Kelly and the airing of the Surviving R. Kelly documentary, someone probably assumed cops were looking for him.
- Kelly's former manager has a warrant out for his arrest. Maybe that's what the person was thinking of.
- Imagine being able to party while having so much heat on you.

R. Kelly wasn't going to let a little controversy and allegations of sexual abuse get in the way of him celebrating his 52nd birthday Wednesday night in Chicago. Not even the cops crashing the party could ruin his night.
Kelly was partying at V75 Nightclub with friends when police showed up to talk to him. Apparently someone inside the club saw him and thought there was a warrant out for his arrest so they called police to snitch on him.
Cops showed up to talk to Kelly but let him go about his business after discovering there is actually no arrest warrant. (TMZ)
