TeeRoy's 2 Cents:

  • I hate to admit it, but Ak's got a point.
  • Congratulations, Meek, you played yourself.
  • Sometimes when someone is spreading completely made-up stories about you, you're better off ignoring the falsehoods entirely. Unless, of course, there's actually some truth to the rumors.
  • So that's what was happening at the "House Parties."

It turns out Diddy’s legal problems are causing collateral damage for more than just a music mogul.

On Wednesday, DJ Akademiks hopped on a livestream where Ak speculated that Meek Mill was the unnamed rapper who had his name redacted from the lawsuit. Ak read an excerpt from the lawsuit that said “Mr. Combs informed Mr. Jones that he had engaged in sexual intercourse with rapper [Blank].”

Meek responded to these allegations on Twitter, where he wrote, “The way you [people] coming on the sick now… I can’t wait to meet Akademiks. Lol they know I drop tomorrow, this [is] they damage control. This net getting too weird… Akademiks didn’t I tell you [to] stop playing with my name… I don’t know what I’ma do when I actually see you! It’s gonna have a combination to it though!”

Ak fired back, saying that he didn’t even believe in the allegations he was repeating. He wrote, “Did you blame me for what a lawsuit said like I just made it up? Lol no way… lol… honestly, I don’t even think Meek [is] gay… but it’s weird as [hell that] he got on Elon Musk’s Twitter to blame me for what a lawsuit said and promote a song lol. Dawg you know you can just say “That’s not true. They’re lying.” Bruh done dropped his trailer more times than the Soundcloud link like he tryna use it as promo, lol, that’s odd to me.” Adding, “This is a treacherous rollout if you ask me.”

But Meek wasn’t content to end it there. He continued to go in on Akademiks, who he called “an alcoholic fully powered by the white man” and “a sick old Black man with no life achievements trying to destroy Black men because you envy us.” He ended asking for Ak’s address so he can “shoot a full production music video in front of his house.”
